FAQ
What grades do you tutor?
Grade 2 to High School. We also tutor college students.
Do you offer lessons in-person?
We currently only offer virtual tutoring which is provided via Google Meets. But, don't let that discourage you from partnering with us! We've worked with numerous students that have been hesitant about virtual tutoring, only to later find that it is not only convenient and engaging, but also produces results.
How long are the lessons?
We provide lessons of various durations, including 30, 45, 60, and 90 minutes. Typically, our 30-minute lessons are most suitable for younger students, while we recommend older students to opt for our 45-minute and 60-minute lessons.
How do you track students' progress?
All incoming students are given a diagnostic assessment to identify their strengths and areas for concern. The results from the assessment are used to create a tutoring plan specific to the students. Students are then regularly assessed to montior growth.
How frequently do you meet with students?
We typically meet with students twice a week. We believe that consistency is key to achieving academic success, and meeting twice a week allows for ample time to review material, work on homework, and develop a strong understanding of math concepts. However, we understand that every student has unique needs and schedules, and we are happy to work with families to create a personalized tutoring plan that fits their specific requirements.
