Meet Simone The Math Tutor

Hey there! 👋🏼 I'm Ms. Simone, and I'm excited to be your future math tutor. I've been tutoring for several years now and have worked with students of all ages - from little ones in 3rd grade to college students. I'm passionate about helping students overcome their math-related fears and achieve their academic goals.

One of the things I love about math is that the skills we learn are transferrable. Whether you're working on algebra, geometry, or calculus, the critical thinking and problem-solving skills you develop can be applied to other areas of your life. My goal as a tutor is to help students see this connection and develop the skills they need to succeed not just in math, but in any subject or endeavor they pursue.

When I'm not tutoring, I love to cook, read, and learn something new. I believe in the importance of fostering a well-rounded education that includes both academic and personal growth. My approach to tutoring is personalized and student-centered. I work closely with each student to understand their unique learning style and develop customized strategies that help them feel more confident and comfortable with math.

In addition to my experience tutoring, I hold a BS in Science & Technology/Math Ed from Kean University and a MA in Instruction & Curriculum. These degrees have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to help students succeed in math and other subjects.
